simple, just do what he tells you. If he tells a joke, type /laugh, don't type HAHA or LOL.. If he wants you to show team spirit, join a party. He will also randomly choose players to play rock paper scissors against him, loose and you die, win and you get a treat. The final part of his court session will be a game of Mad King Says. He will order you to do stuff, but you only have to do it, if he says Mad King Says *dothisorthat*. If he doesn't say Mad King Says and you do what he tells you, you're dead.
Note: If you die, you'll get rezed immediately, but you dont get your treats.
Also, he will give every player who participated in the event the pumpkin hat when he leaves

The Mad King Thorn will appear at Noon, 3pm, 6pm, and 9pm in Lion's Arch. I heard at midnight would be the last time but I am not certain about that particular time.
You play games for about 30 minutes. When he makes a joke, you laugh (or you die). When he asks for music you play an instrument (or you die). He calls on specific players to play Rock, Paper, Scissors. If he beats you ...yep you guessed it...YOU DIE!. If you beat him you get a prize.
When you are slain from not doing something correctly you are instantly brought back up with everyone once that single "event" is over and he moves to the next one.
Each time you get one right..you get one (or more) of the 4 Halloween items that the collectors have (horsemen) from the Mad King Thorn.
At the end he plays "Mad King Says". Same rules as "Simon Says". Once this is done...he gives everyone that PARTICIPATED in the games a Pumpkin Helmet. This helmet is customised..so you CAN NOT equip it on any other character except the one that was there and it has no trade value since it is useless to anyone but you. But it sure looks cool!
Hope this answers all your questions.
If you have more my in-game name is Isabelle Phoenix. If you whisper me asking a question I have already answered in this post I will just put you on ignore. So please limit it to something I have not covered here.

No you do not have to use any halloween items.
I am not sure on timezone yet but I am trying to find out so I can come back here and let you guys know.
Gaile was on several hours ago so I imagine she is asleep now so not too sure how to find out now except wait for his appearance in American districts then we will know what timezone.
Yes, by participate I mean ATTEMPT them...not "get them all right"
I have no other information besides what is in my two posts at this time so please slow the pm's down now...I'll update here soon as I know anything more.
